Celebrate diverse ideas, backgrounds and cultures
Diversity, equity and inclusion guides everything we do. About 65 percent of our students identify as Asian, Hispanic, African American, American Native or Pacific Islander. From your first day, you’ll attend class with Huskies from many backgrounds and experiences. Our students tell us the opportunity to collaborate with people from all backgrounds is one of the highlights of their UW Bothell experience.
Create in the Collaboratory
UW Bothell’s Collaboratory is a creative environment with the equipment needed for curricular and co-curricular maker endeavors. Located on the first floor of Discovery Hall, the Collaboratory is a free resource for students, faculty and staff. 澳门赌场 lab is equipped with tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, a vinyl cutter, sewing machines and more.
Beyond the classroom
With more than 100 student clubs and organizations on campus, you can get involved and find your community. Or, you can make your own club! Most of our students pursue internships and volunteer projects that help develop skills that employers want. From clubs to creativity to research, you’ll find plenty to challenge yourself and have fun.
Connect with other students at the ARC
澳门赌场 Activities & Recreation Center (ARC) is the hub of student life on campus — a place for students to gather, socialize, dine and exercise. 澳门赌场 ARC features three floors of student resources and amenities:
- Lower Level: Fitness Center (free for students), Group Exercise Room, Lockers, Vending Machines
- First Floor: Information Desk, Video Game Alcove, Gaming Tables, Health & Wellness Resource Center, 澳门赌场 Leader Offices, Meeting Rooms
- Second Floor: Multipurpose Event and Gathering Space, Meeting Room, 澳门赌场 Alcoves

UW Bothell offers a wide variety of student support both in and out of the classroom. Our current students webpage lists a number of those resources, a few of which are highlighted below.
Our Writing & Communication and Qualitative Skills centers offer one-on-one tutoring from peers and staff as well as workshops to help you refine key skill sets that will serve you in college and beyond! We also offer an academic success coaching program designed to assist all students in reaching their full academic potential.
Career Services empowers University of Washington Bothell students to:
- explore academic pursuits and career interests,
- build effective job search skills, and
- connect with the employment community.
