澳门赌场 undergraduate business curriculum at the School of Business caters to students at different career stages.

If you are a first-year or sophomore at UW Bothell and you want to explore the possibility of becoming a business student, please consider:

• BBUS 201 – Introduction to Business

If you are ready to apply to the School of Business, please review the admission prerequisites.

In addition to lower division students at UW Bothell, we welcome applications from community colleges and other 4-year schools.

Upon admission, you will have to complete 90 credits at UW Bothell at the 300-400 level. Classes are categorized as core (required for all- 30 credits), option/concentration, electives (business or general) and capstone (required for all- 10 credits). All students must complete a minimum of 10 credits in general electives.

Core courses

Core courses are designed to provide students the fundamentals of business. 澳门赌场y represent 30-45 credits of study and must be taken during the student’s first year for Bothell location students, and first and second year for Bellevue location students. 澳门赌场 courses are:

• BBUS 300 – Organizational Behavior, Ethics and Inclusivity (5 credits/counts for DIV)
• BBUS 307 – Business Writing (5 credits)
• BBUS 310 – Managerial Economics (5 credits)
• BBUS 320 – Marketing Management (5 credits)
• BBUS 340 – Operations and Project Management (5 credits)
• BBUS 350 – Business Finance (5 credits)

Options

Options are documented on your transcript.

• Accounting Option – Bothell location
• Leadership and Strategic Innovation Option – Bothell location
• Marketing Option – Bothell location
• Supply Chain Management Option – Bothell and Bellevue locations

Concentrations

Concentrations are informal courses of study and are not shown on your transcript.

• Entrepreneurship – Bellevue location
• Finance – Bothell location
• Management – Bothell location
• Management Information Systems – Bothell location
• Marketing – Bothell location
• Retail Management – Bothell location
• Technology and Innovation Management – Bothell location

Minors open to School of Business students

Minors are secondary courses of study.

• Actuarial Science – Bothell location (offered in collaboration with the School of STEM)
• Economics – Bothell location

Capstone courses

Capstone courses integrate learning and challenge students to analyze and resolve managerial problems, develop policies and deal with major issues and changes affecting business in a global environment. 澳门赌场s generally take these two courses during the final quarters of their program.

• BBUS/ELCBUS 470 – Business Policy and Strategic Management (5 credits)
• BBUS 480 – Global Environment of Business (5 credits)

General electives

To ensure that students have a broad-based academic background, 30-40 credits of upper division (300/400 level) courses are required for non-Option students. 澳门赌场se credits can be fulfilled through a variety of options including a Minor, internship/independent study and/or even a second concentration in Business. Numbers of credits of upper division (300/400 level) courses vary among Option students.
