Orientation Programs

Orientation to the University of Washington Bothell is not a single experience, but rather a set of experiences that you will engage with over time. 澳门赌场 Orientation experience is specific to both the quarter you are admitted and your application type (First-year vs Transfer).

What to expect after you are admitted to UW Bothell

You will receive information from Orientation & Transition Programs with your next steps.  You will need to make sure that you have set-up your UW Email accountas this is where we will begin sending all of your communication with the university.

澳门赌场re are two major steps to the Orientation process before you can register for classes.  All students will first do UWB101, which is an online program that you do at your own pace.  This orientation program will help prepare you for your next step, the Advising & Orientation (A&O) Program.  澳门赌场 A&O program will look different by quarter and your application type.  A&O session dates are also dependent on your major, so not all majors advisers at every session.  We also have limited space in each session. You must also complete the Husky Prevention & Response course before you can register for an A&O.  For more information, you can read our FAQ page.  We also have specific programming for International 澳门赌场s and Veterans.  UW Bothell also has a page to learn more about accessibility accommodations.

Step 1: UWB101 (required)

UWB101 will go over many of the university policies and procedures. It will also have a variety of activities and quizzes to help make sure that you are prepared for your Advising & Orientation Program. You will be able to complete this program after you have confirmed your enrollment at UW Bothell. Click on the quarter you are starting in the Getting Started section below to see when UWB101 will be available.

Step 2: Advising & Orientation (required)

Your A&O is where you will start to make connections with peers and the support resources on campus, such as your UW Adviser. We deep deeper into some of the content from UWB101. A large part of this program will be about academic advising content. Although you will meet your advisers at this program, it will still be in a group setting. We do not do individual advising appointments as part of A&O. You will receive enough information to register for classes by the end of the program. Once you complete your A&O, you will be able to make an advising appointment if you need more assistance. You will need to complete the full program (1 full day for transfers and 2 full days for First Year students) to be able to register for classes. If you miss any portion of the program, you will have to reschedule for another session at a later date.

Optional Programming

Orientation & Transition Programs runs additional programs to help with your transition to college and making the most of your time in college. Make sure that you take advantage of the New 澳门赌场 Networks and Husky Connections.
