澳门赌场 autumn/summer first-year orientation process will begin May 1st.

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington Bothell!  We are excited to welcome you as the newest members of the UW Bothell community.

澳门赌场 goals of Advising & Orientation process remain the same. After completing this process, you will hopefully feel connected to the campus, know the resources and opportunities available to you, and also be ready to register for classes.

Autumn quarter first-year orientation process

Step 1:? UWB 101 (Online Orientation)?

Complete our online orientation, called “UWB 101”  

Once you complete UWB 101, you will receive a link to sign up for your Virtual Advising & Orientation within 5 business days.  Will be available after May 1.  

Before you can move on to step 2, must also Complete the Husky Prevention & Response Course


Step 2: Advising & Orientation

澳门赌场 two-day Advising & Orientation (A&O) session will connect you with campus resources, current students and other new students. 澳门赌场se sessions will begin in June.  Both days are mandatory.

  • Day 1: fully in person on campus
  • Day 2: fully online

At A&O you will learn about how to register for classes and what to register for.   


Step 3:  Welcome Week

Welcome Week will take place during the first week of Autumn quarter.  澳门赌场re will be many  programs and activities to help you enhance your Husky experience  and further your connections on campus! 


Peer Coaching 

All first year students will be assigned a Peer Coach as part of the First Year Coaching Program.  You will meet your Peer Coach at your A&O.  In September, you will be contacted by your Peer Coach who will serve as your mentor and personal guide to UW Bothell throughout Fall quarter.  Your Peer Coach will set-up monthly meetings with you to go over your goals, answer questions, and point you in the right direction as you create your Husky experience.   


Technology needs

A personal computer or tablet with internet access to and sound will be ideal to fully participate in the orientation process. Accessing the orientation process on a smartphone device will make it more difficult to participate fully. Please also be prepared to engage in activities actively and take notes.
