New student check-list

  1. Create UWNetID –?Your NetID?will?be your official University of Washington email address,?and your access?to many digital resources you will need as a UW Bothell student. If you already have a UW NetID, including current/former Cascadia students, UW staff, Harborview employees, etc.,?click here to update your profile.
  2. Complete Enrollment confirmation process online?– to confirm your enrollment in UW Bothell, admitted undergraduate students are required to submit a nonrefundable $250 deposit.?Once you enroll, the $250 will be credited toward your first quarter’s tuition.??First year students must confirm their enrollment by May 1. Transfer students must confirm their enrollment within 20 days of the date on your admission letter.
  3. Begin your Orientation Process with the Online Orientation UWB 101 – You must also complete the Husky Prevention & Response course before you can register for an Advising & Orientation session. 
  4. Complete Directed Self Placement for Composition and Math Directed self-placement (DSP) at UW Bothell allows you to choose your own course path to meet the University’s first-year writing and math requirement. You’ll learn the demands of each course level and reflect on which is the best choice for you to be successful as a student at UW Bothell.
  5. Send your final High School and/or College transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions as soon as your in-progress course work is completed and graded. Learn more about sending your transcripts here.
  6. You must submit a completed UW Immunization Form before your first day of class. If you submit late, a hold may be placed on your registration for the next quarter.
