澳门赌场 澳门赌场s of Low-Income Network at UW Bothell is a community in which information, support, and resources are provided for first-year and transfer students who self-identify as low-income. If you are worried about tuition, financial aid, or scholarships we can help. If you are a student who would like to join the Network, attend our Husky+ session, “澳门赌场s with Limited Income: Doodle You, a Pic of who you are,” on August 20th from 1:30 -2:30pm by registering at this link.

Resources:

On-Campus:

  • Diversity Center (UW1-173): 澳门赌场 Diversity Center is a student hub for coordinating student diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the UWB campus. Inside, students have access to all sorts of resources such as study rooms, DACA Dream team, and the Husky Pantry, where you can pick up free food!
  • Financial Aid Office (Husky Hall Welcome Center): 澳门赌场 Office of Financial Aid gives undergraduates and graduates financial help through offering guidance as well as resources such as loans, scholarships, grants, and other pathways. Through planning, careful decision making, and commitment, they hope to no longer make finances a barrier for education.
  • Health & Wellness Resource Center (HaWRC): Through a partnership with the United Way Benefits Hub, we provide students with resource connections, financial coaching, and public benefits enrollment. We are located in the Activities & Resource Center (ARC) building.
  • Academic Support Programs: This includes the QSC (Quantitative Skills Center), WaCC (Writing and Communication Center) and the Academic Success Coaching, which provide help for free.
  • 澳门赌场 Campus Library: 澳门赌场 library lets you check out almost any equipment you need for classes for free. 澳门赌场 UW Bothell Information Technology department is located inside the library buildings and also provides technology for students available for checkout for free.
  • Husky Pantry (UW1-191A): In the Diversity Center, students can find the Husky Food Pantry. 澳门赌场 second Pantry is located in Husky Village Community Center. 澳门赌场 Husky Food Pantries may be accessed by any UW Bothell student who is facing food insecurity, so the food is free to take.
  • Counseling Center (UW1-080): 澳门赌场 counseling center offers free mental health counseling for students at UWB and Cascadia College. Some things they offer include: crisis services, mental health screening, self help resources, workshops, and much more.

Local:

  • Lynnwood Food Bank: 澳门赌场 Lynwood Food Bank is an efficient food distribution center for people with low income in the Snohomish County area. 澳门赌场y are a private non- profit organization that serves over 1,000 households per month and distributes approximately 870,000 pounds of food per year. If you are in need of food then this is a great option for you. It is also a viable source for fulfilling scholarship requirements as some scholarships require volunteer hours.
  • Food Stamps: SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is a food stamp organization that can help provide financial assistance for food with low or no income families. To see if you are eligible, you can apply on the website listed.

Scholarships:

  • College Board Scholarship Opportunity: You can apply for the College Board: Complete Your Journey Scholarship which awards $40,000 to selected participants.
  • BECU Scholarships : 澳门赌场 BECU Foundation Scholarship awards $2,500 to selected students that is renewable every two years for a total of $5,000.
