Position Purpose: 澳门赌场 ARC Building Manager is an integral part of the ARC department and will work with the Assistant Director and other Professional Staff to assist in the daily management of the facility operations and program areas within the ARC. ARC Building Managers will provide leadership, professionalism, and service to all students and staff to support the mission and values of the ARC and institutions. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of the ARC, the Building Manager is an essential part of the team that ensures ARC patrons and student staff follow policies and procedures. 澳门赌场 Building Manager is responsible for safety and security within the building and acts as a mentor and leader to other ARC student employees.

?Group Fitness Instructors plan, lead, and facilitate group fitness classes for the Activities & Recreation Center. Group Fitness Instructors create an inclusive and welcoming environment and work with participants to meet all needs and abilities within the class. All instructors will be trained in CPR/AED and First aid and are trained to teach various classes such as Core Conditioning, Dance, High Intensity Interval Training, Indoor Cycling, Lower Body, Upper Body Strength, Yoga, and/or Zumba. Instructors will have the opportunity to learn and get certified in other formats. Applicants do not need to have prior teaching experience. Previous attendance in ARC Group Fitness classes is preferred but not required. Open to UW Bothell and Cascadia College students.
Position Description: Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for leading and delivering group fitness instruction ranging in variety and level from aerobic activity, muscular strength, stretch, dance, or yoga.
Position Purpose: Within the department of the Activities & Recreation Center, the Group Fitness Instructor will be responsible for conducting effective group fitness classes, educating patrons on basic fitness knowledge, and maintaining a safe & enjoyable workout environment for participants.
Intramural Staff

Intramural Staff oversee the Intramural Sports program by supervising and officiating (refereeing) all organized sports and activities. No officiating experience needed. 澳门赌场y participate in officiating a variety of sports, leading captains’ meetings, program promotions, and peer evaluations. 澳门赌场y are responsible for on-site risk management, enforcement of all departmental policies, and provide on-going constructive feedback for participant and program improvement. Outdoor Wellness Leaders (OWLs)

Overview Outdoor Wellness Leaders fill a vital leadership on campus. Leaders develop, market, co-lead, and facilitate day and overnight outdoor adventures, such as canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, etc. Leaders will receive significant training on wilderness skills, outdoor activity instruction, risk management, and environmental practices in order to reduce risks while in the field. All Outdoor Wellness Leaders will be trained in CPR/AED, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and attend other outdoor education trainings as needed. Outdoor Wellness Leaders may also receive funding to further advance their own development in something related to the program.
Being an Outdoor Wellness Leader requires a time commitment of a full academic year. That time is used to plan and market outdoor adventures and work with outdoor equipment in the Nest Gear Shop.
Responsibilities Maintain a minimum 6-10+ hours of work a week during the academic year, Attend Fall training retreat, and additional trainings/development sessions (at least 1 per quarter, dates mandatory), Attend weekly team meetings, Coordinate with the Program Manger to assess and improve outdoor education programs for the campus, Participate in required outdoor leadership training including CPR/AED/First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and other outdoor education trainings, Actively seek input from the student body in order to determine the type of events that they will plan throughout the year, Research current trends in outdoor education, Evaluate data collected from the current student body to inform outdoor programs, Create and evaluate attendee Learning Objectives for each schedule event/program, Facilitate the programming of activities of a diverse nature to entertain and educate students, staff, faculty, and the campus community Program events that appeal to a wide array of ages, gender, ethnicity, and interests, Advertise events to reach students/ staff/ faculty/ community etc. as appropriate, Track budget and archive information for each event, Complete appropriate forms for leading an outdoor trip, Co-sponsor with groups within the campus community, Satisfy requirements for driving University/College vehicles during outdoor adventures

Under the general supervision of Library Technology Services staff, assist patrons using the Library’s computers to access online resources, and complete academic work. (i.e: word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications, printing, scanning, and web browsers). Provide technical support in-person, online, and via telephone for on and off-campus access to UW Libraries resources. Health Educators Reaching Out (HEROs) fill a vital leadership role as peer health educators for the UW Bothell and Cascadia College campus. 澳门赌场 HEROs are trained Certified Peer Educators who conduct health promotion and prevention activities that address sexual health, interpersonal violence, emotional wellbeing, and other priority health needs of the campus.
澳门赌场 position will be different this year than in previous years - we are looking to have 2 HEROs who will specialize in providing mental health education, and 2 HEROs who will specialize in providing sexual health education. 澳门赌场 4 HEROs will collaborate as a team on other projects and topics throughout the year.
HEROs will contribute to social change work in support of the HaWRC’s vision to advance health equity for the campus community, so all students are supported in their holistic wellbeing and to persist through college. Through their work, HEROs will develop professional skills around leadership, facilitation, program planning, assessment, communication, and more.

Project Assistants (PAs)?provide customer service, operations support, and marketing for the department of 澳门赌场 Engagement & Activities (SEA). Project Assistants work in a team of 3 or 4 and perform their duties both individually and collaboratively.
Under the supervision of SEA professional staff, Project Assistants (PAs) support student organizations and clubs with event supplies, information, and poster printing. PAs manage office supplies and equipment, oversee the department inventory, collect and enter data,?assist with marketing and tabling, provide tech support, maintain the department email, social media, and website,?do occasional presentations about getting involved on campus, and perform general office work. 澳门赌场 PAs also help manage the ILO shared office space, staff the ILO front desk, and oversee multiple storage areas.
Project Assistants gain valuable job skills, including project management, teamwork, web editing, social media management, marketing, budgeting, customer service, time management, and more. Project Assistants who apply for a second or third year of employment may gain additional marketable skills, including leadership,?meeting facilitation,?office management, and more.

UWAVE Studio Engineer: Apply here As part of the UWB 澳门赌场 Media team under 澳门赌场 Engagement & Activities (SEA), the UWave Radio is the UWB’s only student-run radio station with a 24/7 livestream. Through UWave, student staff receive hands-on experience and training consistent with broadcast radio industry standards, software, hardware, and practices. 澳门赌场y train and support other students (volunteers, content creators) on how to use UWave’s studio equipment. 澳门赌场s learn, create, and showcase their media work, host shows, and produce podcasts published on our livestream.
UWave offers students a creative outlet through radio to voice ideas, share information, perspectives, and prompt dialogue. 澳门赌场s gain skills in: public speaking, event planning, leadership skills, radio hosting, podcasting, communication techniques, and get to work with equipment/technology.
