A new report that shows wildfire smoke is making air pollution worse in the Northwest is the most recent eye-catching research by UW Bothell Atmospheric Sciences Professor Dan Jaffe and his students.

°ÄÃŶij¡ University of Washington Bothell’s Rotaract club, Rotary members and local firefighters volunteered at a free barbecue for the residents at Camp Unity, a tent village in Woodinville, Washington.

Thanks to generous donors, in 2018-19 the University of Washington Bothell anticipates awarding the largest number of privately funded scholarships to date. UW Bothell is on track to double the $202,000 from 31 funds awarded to 85 students last year.

Six promising UW Bothell math majors were selected for a National Research Experience for Undergraduates Program this summer. °ÄÃŶij¡ Mathematical Association of America expects that immersing themselves in a research experience will strengthen their skills and encourage them to consider graduate school.

“How to monetize social media,” a business plan that Nathan Peterson developed as a UW Bothell student (Marketing ’08), has figured in his career as a corporate social media manager, startup adviser and chief revenue officer for the Tagboard online platform.
