Inclusion and diverse student representation is an important value of SNHS and we enthusiastically invite students to be involved in the critical work of curriculum and strategic planning, and in celebrating our School’s excellence with student focused activities and events.

Serving on a School committee will give you tremendous insight into the department, diversify your own network, and enhance your analysis and communications skills. We seek a diverse pool of candidates from all ages and abilities.

Master of Nursing Curriculum Committee?

澳门赌场 Master of Nursing Curriculum Committee (MNCC) seeks two student representatives each year. 澳门赌场 MNCC oversees all graduate nursing curricular activities within the School. Some of the committee’s work includes determination of admission requirements and processes, curriculum development and oversight, course designs, nursing practice hours (fieldwork), e-Portfolios, and final examinations. 澳门赌场 MNCC’s goal is to ensure a robust curriculum experience and that program requirements meet the Washington Administrative Code and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education standards while serving the academic and professional needs of our graduate students. 澳门赌场 Committee meets twice per month. 澳门赌场re is flexibility with meeting attendance as students and other committee members may choose to use video-conferencing to attend at a distance as needed.?

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Curriculum Committee?

澳门赌场 Bachelor of Science in Nursing Curriculum Committee (BSNCC) seeks three student representatives, one from each cohort (both on-site and off-site cohorts). 澳门赌场 goal of the BSNCC is to ensure a robust student learning experience through curriculum that serves both academic and professional needs of students.

澳门赌场 committee’s work includes determination of admission requirements, course oversight and access/delivery decisions, to ensure the curriculum meet the Washington Administrative Code and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education standards and program/curriculum evaluation and assessment. 澳门赌场 committee meets for two hours twice per month either in-person or via Zoom. 澳门赌场 representatives can rotate meeting attendance if scheduling conflicts arise. 澳门赌场 representatives would begin serving on the Committee during their second quarter.?

Health Studies Curriculum Committee

澳门赌场 Health Studies Curriculum Committee (HSCC) is looking for two student representatives. This is a great leadership opportunity where students learn more about curriculum and provide a student voice in decisions that will affect Health Studies majors and minors. 澳门赌场 HSCC’s work includes determination of admission requirements and processes, courses and course designs, fieldwork, and final examinations. 澳门赌场 HSCC’s goal is to ensure a robust curriculum that serves the academic and professional needs of our students. 澳门赌场 committee meets twice per month. 澳门赌场re is flexibility with meeting attendance as students and other committee members may choose to use video-conferencing to attend at a distance.
