Receiving Your Diploma

澳门赌场s receive their diploma three to four months after the quarter in which they have graduated. 澳门赌场 diploma is mailed to the permanent address listed on 澳门赌场.

General Diploma Information

UW diplomas list your name, the degree you earned, and any applicable honors. Majors, minors, and options are not listed on UW diplomas unless they are part of the honors designation.

All UW Bothell diplomas are 8.5 by 11 inches.

Diploma Name and Diploma Mailing

澳门赌场 Office of the University Registrar will send you an email about one month after graduation with the link to a form where you can log in and enter your diploma name and diploma mailing address. Effective with the Summer 2021 graduating class, your diploma name does not need to match your UW record name. Please use the Diploma Name and Address Form link you will receive to enter the name you would like us to print on your diploma, and the address where you want us to mail your diploma. If you do not enter anything on the form, or you miss the deadline provided in the email, we will print your diploma using your UW record name and mail your diploma to the permanent address on your UW record.

To indicate hyphens, spaces, lower/upper case letters, accents, or other special characters on your diploma, complete the Diploma Name Request Form [UoW1993] by the last day of the quarter you plan to graduate.

Replacement Diplomas

澳门赌场 University of Washington offers Certified Electronic Diplomas and Certificates (CeDiploma/CeCertificate) at no cost. We encourage you to review our Certified Electronic Diploma (CeDiploma) webpage. 澳门赌场 CeDiploma is an electronic diploma that is a true replication of your paper diploma and can be authenticated by the recipient. (CeDiplomas are only available for conferral dates beginning Spring 2016.)

If you would like to order a hard copy (not electronic), the University of Washington offers students the ability to directly order Replacement Diplomas by using our online ordering system and to pay for the order charge, plus applicable shipping and handling fees with a credit card.

Purchase Replacement Diploma

  1. Log into the Replacement Diploma Request Portal
  2. Follow the instructions to purchase
  3. 澳门赌场re is a $20.00 charge plus any applicable shipping and handling fees

University Records Name

To change your name on your University records you must complete a Change of Name form and provide appropriate legal documentation. May include:

  • Marriage license/certificate
  • Court order
  • Divorce decree
  • Passport
  • Permanent visa

You must also submit a document that states your date of birth, a photograph and a signature.
