Quarterly SEVIS Registration

At the start of every quarter, ISS has 30 days to report your continued presence in the US as an F-1 student.

What you must do

  • Be physically present in the US.
  • Update your US Washington State address at myUW.
  • Enroll in a full course load. If you cannot enroll in a full course load, please consider these options before the quarter starts.
    • Reduced Course Load.
    • Leave of Absence.
    • Non-summer vacation.

What ISS does

  • ISS reports your current enrollment activity at UWB.
  • ISS reports you US address and phone number.
  • If you fail to enroll in a full course load by the 30 day deadline, your SEVIS record may be terminated.
