About This Course
We live in a world of ever accelerating change in culture, technology, climate, the biosphere, international relationships, human well-being – you name it.? Where are the trends taking us?? How different will our world be in 2050? Just what controls our societal trajectory and future prospects??
What Will We Explore?
Via this course you will explore different ways to investigate those questions, peering through 澳门赌场es like future scenarios, environmental ethics, climate modeling, and fictional narratives.? Along the way we’ll learn about the strengths and limitations of interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to research and problem solving.?
Why Should I Take This Course?
By the end of the course, you should have a much better handle on the possible and plausible outcomes for civilization in 2050 and what you think needs to happen between now and then to ensure that humanity and biodiversity (and you!) thrive together for the foreseeable future.
